Tell us about yourself
In 1990 I founded Audiaxis Auditores, S.L.P., now part of Baker Tilly, of which I am a member of the Board of Directors.
Representing Spain, I was a member of the Liberation-Qualification Working Party of the FEE (Federation des Experts Comptables Européens), a consultative body of the European Commission. I was also a member of the Committee for the Defence of Members of the Association of Chartered Accountants of Catalonia.
Currently, I am a member of the Committee for Expert Proceedings of the Association of Chartered Accountants of Catalonia and Arbitrator Mediator of the Higher Council for Cooperation of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
I have taught on the Master's Degree in Auditing at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, and I currently teach at the School of Auditing of the Association of Chartered Accountants of Catalonia.
In recent years, I have focused my professional specialisation on issuing expert opinions as an independent expert in economic, financial and accounting matters, in the course of legal proceedings in the civil, commercial, criminal, labour and contentious-administrative fields.
How do you think these last few years have influenced the way you work?
Combining the demand to achieve the highest technical quality and excellence in all my professional actions, with transparency, confidentiality and personalised attention as essential values on which my philosophy of action is based.
All of this with the permanent vocation to ensure that my work provides value to our clients by offering them practical and effective solutions to the problems they present to us.
What do you value most in your day-to-day work? What does Baker Tilly mean to you?
The fact that I have a job that is not just a job but a true vocation.
