Tell us about yourself
Since 2017, I have been part of Baker Tilly and I mainly carry out my work within the Financial Advisory Services area, where we provide financial advisory services such as Due Diligence, business valuations, Forensic, business review reports and other financial modelling projects.
How do you think these last few years have influenced the way you work?
The evolution of the so-called workplace, or way of working, has had a significant impact on our profession. Our usual approach to work, as independent professionals working on a project basis, has been strengthened and fully consolidated.
Efficient time management, remote working and a strong results-oriented approach, rather than time spent, are now a reality in the sector and are no longer open to debate. Today, no one would consider spending four hours travelling, with the associated costs, just to hold a project kick-off meeting. We have gained time and efficiency.
What do you value most in your day-to-day work and being part of Baker Tilly?
Being part of Baker Tilly is fundamental for me. It provides me with a compass to follow a shared strategic direction alongside other professionals. I feel part of a team and it allows me to trust that we can offer almost any service, as there is always someone within the firm who can deliver it with the highest level of professionalism.
