Tell us about yourself
I hold a degree in Law from the University of Barcelona, and I am a member of the Barcelona Bar Association, as well as a member of the Insolvency Law Section and Secretary of the Cooperative Law Section. I also hold a postgraduate qualification in Family Law, although I have not specialised in this area.
I specialise in procedural, civil and commercial law, with significant experience in the insolvency field, having led the legal direction of numerous insolvency proceedings.
Since 2020, I have been recognised by the Best Lawyers ranking as a specialist in insolvency and restructuring.
I am Manager of the Procedural Law area, from which I provide legal advisory services to companies, cooperatives and third-sector entities in corporate, contractual and insolvency matters.
How do you think these last few years have influenced the way you work?
The emergence of multiple communication channels (telephone, email, instant messaging, etc.), together with the ability for anyone to access legal information through internet search engines, requires us to deliver far more complex responses with a strong strategic focus, aimed at addressing clients’ real needs, rather than simply referring to the wording of a specific legal provision that is publicly accessible.
What do you value most in your day-to-day work?
Teamwork and the challenge presented by complex matters, which require in-depth research and the development of the appropriate legal strategy in business crisis situations, often going beyond a specific legal proceeding.
