Tell us about yourself
I hold a degree in Business Administration (ADE) with a specialisation in International Trade. Since graduating, I have continuously trained in different areas of business management at leading business schools such as ESADE, IESE and London Business School. I founded Barcelona Business Landing, a firm specialised in M&A processes and market entry strategies for companies with commercial and investment interests in Spain. I have also developed my professional career in the field of business internationalisation, with extensive experience in international markets such as Africa, the Middle East and Asia. In addition, I was responsible for the International Promotion department at the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, developing internationalisation programmes for SMEs and specific programmes for startups in Silicon Valley. I am currently a partner in the M&A area.
How do you think these last few years have influenced the way of working?
Having had the opportunity to visit, work or simply spend time in more than 60 countries has undoubtedly changed my perspective on the world, my ability to adapt, and the way I work and interact with others. Different cultures enrich us.
What advice would you give to someone starting their career?
For me, continuous learning is key to the development of any professional.
Travel, travel and travel some more… and if you have the opportunity to live in a country with a culture completely different from your own, don’t hesitate for a second. Go to Asia.
Entrepreneurship should also be a “must” in any professional career.
