Tell us about yourself

I graduated in Business Administration and Management (ADE) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Subsequently, I completed various courses related to practical taxation, management control, advanced accounting and leadership, among others.

I have held different roles within Baker Tilly, including accounting advisory and tax, as well as the Accounting & Reporting function. I also spent some time working in a pharmaceutical company within the Controlling department and, currently, I hold the position of Finance Director, with the aim of standardising processes, implementing policies across the company, ensuring financial requirements and coordinating the administration department of Baker Tilly Iberia with the cross-functional service provided to the rest of the divisions.

How do you think these last few years have influenced the way you work?

The truth is that remote working has enabled greater flexibility in balancing work and personal life, allowing me to better organise my work. Online meetings have also made it easier to avoid unnecessary travel and improve efficiency.

What do you value most in your day-to-day work and being part of Baker Tilly?

From a professional perspective, one of the things I value most in my day-to-day work is seeing how efforts gradually take effect and how processes continue to improve. Being able to manage my time independently, thanks to remote working, is also something I greatly appreciate.

As for being part of Baker Tilly, I value the company’s adaptability, its commitment to talent, professional training and the creation of career opportunities that can bring significant value to the organisation.

“Developing both theoretical and practical expertise is essential. Understanding different areas of a company or its clients provides a more comprehensive view of their capabilities, skills, strengths and areas for improvement.”
