Tell us about yourself

I began my professional career after completing a higher education qualification and a Master’s degree in Audit at the University of Barcelona. I combined my studies with internships at Audiaxis Auditores, progressing through different stages until becoming a partner at the firm. I manage the Audit Department based on key principles focused on working with excellence, awareness and humility, always aiming to provide that added value that sets us apart.

In addition to my professional experience in audit, if I had to highlight something distinctive, it would be two aspects: the knowledge acquired and over 20 years of experience in the cooperative sector and non-profit organisations. Secondly, I would highlight my knowledge and experience in the field of sustainability, developed prior to the mandatory implementation of the EINF (Non-Financial Information Statements), and my involvement in the sustainability committee of the College of Auditors of Catalonia and, currently, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Spain.

How do you think these last few years have influenced the way of working?

Work has changed over recent decades, as have teams. We are currently faced with an excess of data, and it is essential to know how to analyse it without losing focus. Immediacy prevails, with all that this entails, and uncertainty in the evolution of many indicators means that estimates can vary with very limited room for manoeuvre.

Project management and team management are becoming increasingly complex, requiring us to adapt more quickly to unforeseen situations. A real challenge.

What do you value most about your day-to-day?

Without a doubt, my colleagues. All the changes we are experiencing are easier to manage with a team that brings knowledge, teamwork and commitment.
