The User assumes full responsibility for accessing and using the Website. 6. LIABILITY AND WARRANTIES

6.1. Liability for the Use of the Website

Baker Tilly declares that it has adopted, to the extent possible and in accordance with the current state of technology, all reasonable precautions to ensure the proper functioning of the Website and to prevent the existence or spread of viruses or other harmful elements for Users.

However, Baker Tilly assumes no responsibility for:

The presence of errors in such Content or the failure to correct possible defects.
The accuracy, completeness, or updating of data provided by Users.

Baker Tilly will pursue any breach of this Legal Notice, as well as any misuse of its portal, by exercising all civil and criminal actions that may correspond to it under the law.

9.1. Practice of the Legal Profession

Among the professional activities of the Baker Tilly group companies is the practice of law, carried out by lawyers duly registered with their respective Bar Associations. Some of the professional regulations applicable to the practice of law include the General Statute of the Spanish Legal Profession and the Code of Ethics of the Spanish Legal Profession.

9.2. Practice of the Auditing Profession

The Baker Tilly group also engages in the practice of account auditing through auditors duly registered with the Official Register of Account Auditors. The main professional regulation applicable is Law 22/2015 of 20 July on Account Auditing.

Baker Tilly (Spain) is an independent member of Baker Tilly International. Baker Tilly International Limited is a company incorporated in England. Baker Tilly International does not provide professional services to clients. Each member firm is a separate and independent legal entity and describes itself as such.

Baker Tilly (Spain) is not an agent of Baker Tilly International and has no authority to bind or act on behalf of Baker Tilly International. None of the member firms of Baker Tilly International, including Baker Tilly (Spain), nor any of the other member firms, shall be liable for the acts or omissions of the others. The name Baker Tilly and its associated logo are used under license from Baker Tilly International Limited.

Baker Tilly assumes no responsibility for links (“hyperlinks”) to other web pages or applications that may be available on the Website and that redirect the User to sites outside its control.

Any disputes or claims arising from the interpretation or execution of this Legal Notice shall be governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of such disputes, both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Barcelona, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.
