Throughout my professional career, I have worked in various legal services firms with very different approaches, with a multidisciplinary profile, but always focused on corporate law and M&A.
I currently hold the position of Director of Legal Services at Baker Tilly.
How do you think these last few years have influenced the way of working?
Clearly, there has been a shift in paradigm and in the way both the profession and its practice are understood. In my view, the legal profession can no longer be framed within a traditional conception; I strongly believe that a good in-house lawyer is one with a business-oriented mindset, serving companies. Only in this way can one truly understand the client’s business needs and anticipate solutions.
What do you value most about your day-to-day life? And about being part of Baker Tilly?
There are many things I value, but if I had to highlight one, I would clearly choose having an absolutely committed, professional and talented team, as well as the opportunity to work with some of the best professionals (and people) I have encountered throughout my career.
