Tell us about yourself

I started my professional career after completing a higher degree and a master's in auditing at the University of Barcelona. I combined my studies with internships at Audiaxis Auditores, going through many stages, until becoming a partner of the firm. I manage the audit department with basic pillars based on working for excellence, with awareness and humility, trying to provide that added value we all seek to be different.

Apart from my professional experience in auditing, if I had to highlight something different, it would be two points: the knowledge acquired and the experience for more than 20 years in the cooperative world and non-profit entities. As a second point, my knowledge and experience in the world of sustainability, starting before the mandatory Sustainability Information Disclosure Statements (EINFs), and being part of the sustainability committee of the College of Auditors of Catalonia and, currently, of the Institute of Official Accounts Auditors of Spain.

How do you think these last few years have influenced the way of working?

Work in recent decades has changed just as teams have. Currently, we have an excess of data, and it is necessary to know how to analyze them without getting lost in them. Immediacy prevails, which implies what it implies, and the uncertainty in the evolution of many indicators causes estimates to vary with little room for maneuver.

The management of projects and teams is increasingly complex, all of which means you have to adapt more quickly to unforeseen situations. Quite a challenge.

What do you value most about your day-to-day?

Without a doubt, my colleagues, all the changes we are experiencing are easier with a knowledgeable, stable, and generous team behind.

"Baker Tilly is a turning point in my career, an unexpected change, not of direction but of ocean."
