Tell us about yourself

My professional career has been closely linked to Baker Tilly. During the early years, I combined audit projects with others focused on financial control and management, with an increasing share of my time dedicated to the latter.

In 2018, I discovered the world of Business Intelligence and, as I developed my expertise in this field, I sought to apply these BI solutions to control-related projects. Convinced of the untapped potential in this area, in September 2022 I decided to take the initiative and dedicate all my efforts to this type of work. Once again, closely linked to Baker Tilly, I now serve as Associate Partner in the BI area.

How do you think the last few years have influenced the way you work?

There is no doubt that global social developments have brought about a significant change for all professionals, and professional services firms have been no exception.

In my view, this has led to a fundamental shift in the decentralisation of projects. I believe it no longer makes sense to refer to offices in Barcelona, Madrid or Murcia, but rather to areas such as Audit, M&A or Digital. This is not a minor change, and I believe that those who best adapt to this new organisational structure will gain a significant competitive advantage over other firms.

What do you value most about your day to day?

I believe that, in my day-to-day professional life within Baker Tilly, I find everything one would expect from an ideal job: personal motivation, continuous learning, an excellent working environment, and recognition.

"Feeling that your company’s values fit with your own, is a luxury that not everyone has."
