Tell us about yourself
With more than 30 years of experience in the professional services sector, and following several years of training at KPMG in Madrid and Boston, I have been responsible for leading the growth and development of Audalia Nexia, a firm with a 45-year history, founded by my father, Santiago, and currently integrated into Baker Tilly.
I am also a registered auditor in the ROAC and a tax advisor.
What do you value most in your daily routine? And in being part of Baker Tilly?
Working as part of a team with professionals who share similar professional and human values, enabling us to respond to our clients’ needs and support them in achieving their business objectives. The ability to listen and to participate proactively, with the aim of achieving previously defined common goals, both with clients and in matters related to the firm’s governance.
What advice would you give to someone starting their career?
To take a proactive approach, being present during the early years both in the office and with clients, and not hesitating to ask questions or rely on the support of supervisors to learn. It is essential to approach work with passion, without comparing oneself to others.
