Tell us about yourself

My professional career and my experience are the result of a trajectory that I have been developing in the Tax Department of different firms, such as Deloitte and, previously, in the firm Cuatrecasas, both in Barcelona.
Since 2011, I have been working as a partner in the Tax Planning Department.
I have a degree in law, I sat the competitive examination for the tax inspectorate and, subsequently, I took a master's degree in taxation. I have also undertaken specific training, such as in tax consolidation and related-party transactions.
I am a member of the Barcelona Bar Association and the AEDAF (Spanish Association of Tax Advisors).
I have extensive experience in tax and fiscal law focused on advising individuals and legal entities, both national and international. I also provide, among other services, advice in Due Diligence processes for the purchase and sale of companies, advice to groups of companies, tax reviews in the field of auditing and in tax proceedings, both in administrative and judicial proceedings, etc.

How do you think these last few years have influenced the way you work?

Our area and the branch of law we work in is constantly evolving and changing, which forces us to be constantly updating ourselves. Similarly, the current legal uncertainty in tax matters is an important challenge for us and forces us to have a more exhaustive knowledge and to accompany our clients in a proactive way.

What advice would you give to someone starting out in their career?

A lot of patience, willingness to learn, resilience.

"I value working with my tax planning team and the option of learning new things every day and being able to create or seek solutions by applying the rules in force at all times to the problems presented by the clients"
