Tell us about yourself

I am an Economist with postgraduate training in data analytics and business intelligence, meaning I have a very 'quant' profile but with the added benefit of extensive professional experience that allows me to grasp the more qualitative aspects of companies and business models. Currently, I am a partner in the Advisory department at Baker Tilly.

My day-to-day is focused on aspects such as company valuation, drafting forecasts and business plans, and other tasks closely linked to specialized financial consultancy. I also regularly collaborate with the Forensic area in preparing expert reports on matters such as determining economic damages and justifying various fundamental economic issues.

I have carried out the definition and financial evaluation of new projects for financing in project finance mode, planning expansion processes and their financing and valuation of companies or business lines in sales processes, the preparation of strategic plans, etc.

How do you think these last years have influenced the way of working?

Like everyone, I have discovered that paradigms I had very much set in terms of physical presence were totally revisable. Changes in the environment and the need to adapt to these changes have once again proven to be a driving force for progress.

Technology has also shown itself again as the key factor in doing so.

What do you value most about your day-to-day?

Facing new and demanding professional challenges. Furthermore, doing so with coworkers from whom you learn every day is a true pleasure that compensates for the effort these challenges entail.

What advice would you give to someone starting their career?

I would tell them that the DNA of our profession is trust. The trust we convey to clients and the trust we convey to our colleagues. Our training and professional demands serve to cover a significant quota of this trust we must generate, but another very important part lies in our honesty, our commitment, and the ability to communicate and connect with the people who trust in us.

"The DNA of our profession is trust."
