Tell us about yourself
I am an economist with postgraduate training in data analytics and business intelligence, meaning I have a profile with a strong analytical and quantitative focus, combined with extensive professional experience that allows me to understand the more qualitative aspects of companies and business models. I am currently a partner in the Advisory department at Baker Tilly.
My day-to-day work focuses on areas such as company valuation, the preparation of financial forecasts and business plans, as well as other engagements closely linked to specialised financial advisory. I also regularly collaborate with the Forensic area in the preparation of economic expert reports, in matters such as the assessment of economic damages and the justification of various underlying financial issues.
I have carried out the definition and financial evaluation of new projects for their financing through project finance, as well as the planning of expansion processes and their financing, the valuation of companies or business units in M&A transactions, and the development of strategic plans, among others.
How do you think these last years have influenced the way of working?
Like everyone, I have discovered that paradigms I had very much set in terms of physical presence were totally revisable. Changes in the environment and the need to adapt to these changes have once again proven to be a driving force for progress.
Technology has also shown itself again as the key factor in doing so.
What do you value most about your day-to-day?
Facing new and demanding professional challenges. Doing so alongside colleagues from whom you learn every day is a real pleasure that offsets the effort these challenges require.
