How do you think recent years have influenced the way we work?

The technological transformation has completely redefined the way of working in auditing. Paper has been left practically in the past, and with it, the obligation to always be physically present at the client's offices. Today, an external auditor can carry out their work from anywhere, and the time spent with the client is genuine, productive time — no hours wasted collecting physical documentation and no unnecessary friction. The result is external audits that are more agile, more precise and far more efficient.

What do you value most about your day-to-day work? And about being part of Baker Tilly?

At Baker Tilly Spain there is no room for routine. Working in audit keeps you in a state of constant learning: every project, every client and every colleague brings something new. Teamwork is not just a way of organising yourself — it is a genuine source of professional and personal growth. The company culture at the firm is built on closeness between people, and that makes all the difference in the daily life of any audit and consulting professional.

"My advice is to start with great enthusiasm and make the most of the many learning opportunities that auditing offers — working across diverse teams, sectors and companies, and meeting professionals from whom you can always learn something new."
