Baker Tilly 25 May, 2023

Baker Tilly International has shared that referrals from Baker Tilly's legal services have increased since last year by 43%.

"The importance of referrals at the international network level remain a key element of our work as a network. As such, it is crucial that we continue to actively seek opportunities to remain competitive and grow our business. Legal referrals increased by over 40% year-on-year in 2022 and we captured over 245 job opportunities from 25 network firms, which were sent to over 77 territories" comments Adam Grainger, Chief Operating Officer of the global network.

Legal and legal services at Baker Tilly

At Baker Tilly in Spain we have been committed to legal services since the beginning. Over the years we have created and developed a multidisciplinary team of legal and juridical lawyers at national level and, recently, we have consolidated our reality in a significant way with the incorporation of our new colleagues from Addvante.

On the other hand, we have been part of the founding committee that has promoted the legal services under the Baker Tilly at international level and the growth of these and its lawyers in the network over the last 15 years. The information recently published by Global Office (Baker Tilly International) is a clear sign that the challenge we took on at the time is bearing fruit. At present, in fact, it is one of the strategic sectors driven by the network, which will undoubtedly allow us to continue investing in its development and growth. Both from Baker Tilly Spain and internationally, we will continue to make a strong commitment to legal services, dedicating all our efforts to continue consolidating the legal network internationally and successfully channeling all the opportunities and/or clients referred to it.

It is also worth noting, the strong global growth that the firm has had this past year, revenues have reached a record high in the fiscal year ended December 31, 2022, in which they increased by 13% globally to record US$4,660mn. All regions experienced double-digit revenue growth led by Latin America and North America and the number of employees now stands at over 41,000 in 703 offices in 145 territories. This continues the decade of steady growth that has seen the network grow by nearly 40% since 2017.
